Bread Poha is a very tasty and filling dish made with everyday ingredients which are always available in everyone’s pantry! A fantastic way of using left over bread , this delicious snack is something that both kids and adults love.

I have used white bread here, however, brown bread and gluten free bread can also be used. Here are some key nutritional facts about bread:

  • It is relatively low in calories. An average medium slice of white bread contains 77 calories, brown contains 72 calories and wholemeal contains 79 calories.
  • Bread is a low fat food. An average medium slice of white bread contains 0.6g of fat, brown bread contains 0.7g and wholemeal contains 0.9g.
